Are you aged 16 - 18, live in Southwark, not in work or at school, and interested in acting, making theatre or running drama workshops?
Working in a small group of no more than eight, trainees will get a chance to perform to other young people in your own performance tour across schools, colleges, universities and youth centres in London and run workshops with other young people.
There will be the opportunity to gain an Access to Higher Education qualification in Theatre Practice, train in conflict resolution, exercise interview techniques, write a CV, get a first aid certificate, and maybe even a part time job at London Bubble.
There might even be the chance to travel overseas...
The project won the RSA Innovation Award and recently a showcase event was held at the Bubble to celebrate the work the young people have done. A film about LB360 on tour was shown along with Forum Theatre performances by the young people.
Recent trainees have gone on to full time courses in Theatre at Southwark College and Greenwich Community College.
London Bubble is offering a 1.5 day theatre training course where you'll gain a certificate and maybe an invite onto our course.
