It has been very good revisiting Boal's games and developing ensemble techniques this half term although the short course must have been disappointing for those completely new to Bubble. Hope the adult group will re-start after GOTB before September.

Yes been good group. Lots of fresh ideas and group not afraid of a challenge. Thanks Jools. Definite pity group is closing for time being. Hope some transfer to Blitz.

Yes I too hope the group will restart after the first outing of Blackbirds (title of the script that has emerged from the Blitz interviews). To be clear, the reason for suspending the Adult group is so that Bubble as a whole can concentrate on the opportunity that this project offers us. All the experience we have gained from projects such as Astronomical, Urban Dreams plus site specific work such as Everybody's Theatre can come to fruition in quite a high profile piece - with a long lead up time and reasonable production budget. My hope is that not only current BADdies but also Jools and some of the Teens will be adding their weight to the project.
Obviously the future is partly down to finance, but it's looking as through there may be an interesting opportunity that the BAD group can work towards during the summer. I'll keep you informed.

Glad you liked playing with the stories on wednesday, the group who created them attend Brent Knoll Special school in Lewisham and took part in a short (4 week) project in the autumn. They had a great time making them and have them up in school as a display. I agree with your comments that they have a "poetic" feel
