SIRENS OF TITAN

Albany's "Vesper" aka Roy Hobson too
This morning on BBC Radio London 94.9 Joanne Good said that she was taking her dog Matilda to see a London Bubble Theatre Company production at Hilly Fields in Brockley.

A very tired Jo Good (she also hosts the Late Show) couldn't remember the name of the show, and she didn't know where Brockley was so I sent her & co-host Simon Lederman the following text to 81333:

LONDON Brockley is between Deptford & Lewisham. Brockley's Green Councillor Darren Johnson is also Chair of the London Assembly. VESPER

Sirens of Titan at Hilly Fields

Had such a wonderful evening on Thursday night, the play was brilliant, performances great and singing beautiful. The backdrop was captivating as the last of the light faded.

My girls were delighted by the goof balls and they are still talking about the hot chocolate.

I will have to read it to really cement the story in my mind, ...perhaps something to do with human potential and that we can always be more inventive.
I thought the performance was classic Bubble style playful and relaxed theatre. The cast drew you in with humble authority. The set/costumes, the same...globular drips on mars and excentric humerous head wear...the bubble wrap suites were fantastic. Simple but effective design choices, that compliment the ensemble.
Simple music and song were certainly muse-like. Theatre like this MUST continue!
I felt revived, and Oxleas is lovely.
Thank you,
Gwen.
