sand and feathers
01/09/08: I think: The sand is from the beach (Holiday in the hot sand; the sand in Spain.) The feathers are from George's own wings. My local take-out's wings always come with feathers! Thursday night Malcolm sat in the wings and dreamt of piping hot take-aways, before saying hello to Neko. Friday, I liked our cosy group sitting round preparing envelopes. Jolly good job! Wings, anyone?!
Updates and a big thank you
We did our big Urban Dreams mailout yesterday and this week the postcard with a letter explaining what has happened so far at the Bubble, will reach the doors of 3075 Londoners!
A BIG BIG thank you to Daniel Rands, Hannah R, Nathan R, Thomas Pullen, Lesley, Muhammad, Ebenezer and Alice for helping us with the huge huge task! It took all of us the whole day to fold letters, stuff them into envelopes, stick labels, frank letters and post them!
and now we attack the VIP list... any famous people you want to invite, let us know!!
Goodness of Heart
02/09/08: Right on with the rehearsals! Malcolm found kindness in his heart to plant a sandwich just where a destitute teenager might find it. Ahhhhh . . . such goodness of heart! George taught us how to be model pupils. What's sigma again, George, sir?! Love that Duvet song - I'm lazy, so I sleep. Maggots, get set for destitution! Must nap; bye!

03/09/08: Er, sorry, Ian. Hello Muhammad-brain (I ask myself): anybody in there?! The sand: Is dried up tears. Once all the desert used to be ocean-water. When the heat beat down (the going got hard, the dreamer became restless) things dried up - sandwiches turned to dust. You follow?
And feathers: They're from inside the sleepers' pillows. They are outward show - representing frippery. And . . . We torture birds, so they (gulls) put a few of their finest into George's oral orifice! Revenge!
Last night . . . Malcolm got overwhelmed by maggots. But nice Ian came to the rescue. How tables turn!

So Scared
04/09/08: Back again! I'm wrong about the teachers - they're not prats - they're super-prats! And . . . Heart-breaking to see a teenage rough-sleeper scavanging in bins - only in London! And . . . wondering where the I Wasn't So Scared song comes in - don't know the tune . . . oh dear! And . . . glad that Ian's my partner for unit 16. Hooray! We teacher-types stick together, no? Real pillows please! All in all, having a fun time fishing for ideas, at the Bubble. Much thanks Peth & co. - for arranging our creative pastimes. Must run!

To celebrate the European Premiere of its brand new all singing, all dancing original film CAMP ROCK, the Disney Channel is extending an invitation to your students to attend the exclusive London premiere of Camp Rock at the Royal Festival Hall, South Bank on Wednesday, 10 September.
Stars JONAS BROTHERS (Joe, Kevin and Nick) and singer / songwriter / actress DEMO LOVATO are confirmed to attend the event along with 1,500 VIP guest and celebrities eager to get a first look at the movie.
CAMP ROCK has already proved a smash-hit in the USA and made its television debut on 20th June on Disney Channel U.S and Canada. During its multi-platform premiere weekend roll-out, the movie reached a staggering 24.5 million unique total viewers and became the second highest viewed Disney Channel Original Movie of all time after High School Musical 2.
We would love to invite a group of your students, aged 9-14 (approx) down to the Royal Festival Hall to join in the red carpet fun on Wednesday, 10 September, from 3.00pm till 6.00pm.
