Thanks Peth

Sun. 9 Sept. \'07:
Thanks Peth, for your informative letter. Look forward to our rehearsal in Elephant Road Park on the 23rd. Do we still have all the wall-holders - the pros that were helping us? Looking forward, too, to the new BAD project. Ta-ta!

Here Comes Sunday

16.09.07: Hi, folks. I'm getting ready for Sunday rehearsal - how about you?! Sing along with me now: Not every wall needs a door . . .
Hello, BAD group. Who's joined up this term?

Attitude

Thurs. 20/09/07: Hello readers. Quite enjoyed the BAD stuff last night. Quite positive I know everybody's name in our group. Theatre, for me, is often about creating drama from a new idea - just introduced. Hopping from idea to idea, keeps me on my toes. You have to make something from nothing. An icy fear courses through my veins!!! It'll be great to see how we progress with the attitude/scene-creating theme. Look forward to working with Simon; he's a cool dude! Has he got the final script ready already?! Sorry, I'll be 20 minutes late every week, due to work commitments. It was fun to work with Sylvan again - he's full of ideas/caricatures. See you 40 Walls guys on Sunday.

Yes good session especially the physical to narrator type bits

Rehearsal

It was quite a tough environment today. Muhammad you were fantastic, you really projected & stood out, from my perspective. You could be heard & you were right back in role. We all need to be heard & the Scoop may not be any easier so heres hoping we get it together & go for it.

Hard Work

Thanks for your words of encouragement, Ian. I missed saying 'I agree' towards the end . . . I think my mind sometimes goes to sleep when I take on several things. Overall, I liked the Elephant Road session. Too much like hard work! I had to fully re-discover the first portion of the play - before the Old Man story started. The people who stood in for John had to be prompt. Our Box Dance had become a bit rusty - now we're more in the picture. I was hoping that Linda wouldn't lead us. Anyway, we now know the moves again. Look forward to the BAD meeting on Wed. Good luck to everyone for the final 2 40 Walls shows!

Red shoes

Great session Simon, almost as good as Sylvan last week, still we'll miss you. The text is wonderful, seemless words flickering between narration & dialogue just as the images do, & horribly relevant, too heavy, I don't think so it offers such a lot of scope for imagery & transformation. Idon'#t think we should be too judgemental, one of the great things is the way it seems like it is observed rather than experienced from one point of view?

Experience

Hello, folks. Getting all set for the Scoop experience. Got to be loud, clear and coherent. Could be a big audience. Good luck to all participants. Break a leg!

Ian

We need to be dynamic & louder than Sunday, really focused, it'll be cold if this wind continues. Last chances, break a leg!!

Ian

I need to slow down as well.
