Preview

25/07/10: Quite enjoyed the preview on Thursday - thanks to the Bubble for an enjoyable afternoon/evening. I love it when actors project on stage - so that people from the rear of the audience can hear crisp, clear words ringing out. Also, it's great when actors don't lose their energy. A line that's supposed to be delivered quietly can still be fairly audible. Little mistakes (pronouncing words) in the flow of the narrative/dialogues can stand out. So put yer thinking caps on thespians!! . . . Quite enjoyed the use of puppets in the show. The miniature figures create an angle that explains the story well, injecting a note of enjoyment. The dog Kazak puts in a few vital barks as well! . . . The singing was nice - specially the bit leading to the final scene. The humour of the plot makes the experience a jolly affair. All in all, another Bubble innovation that engages the audience. Can't wait to see it again! (Oxleas Wood - here we come!)
