Water Theatre
Great to know the show went well. I feel sad I missed being in it, but I was in Bangladesh, so couldn't get involved. I want to see a video of the whole thing - should b fun to watch. My house is just across the park. I quite love the local river. Recent regeneration of the park has made the waterway much more accessible. Peth has used the venue cleverly. Well done, Bubble Theatre.

Magical evening
Thank you to the whole team for such a magical evening. It was a delight to hear the story of the river and the park by local residents. The whole thing had such a community feel and the effects at dusk were quite magical. The best bits: the dog conversation and the local historian who was so engaging and entertaining. Thanks so much for helping me and my friends celebrate my birthday.

Rivers and People
Thank you, London Bubble, for putting together such a lovely, magical show. It was great how so many people got involved, and through very creative ways, transformed the park into a fantastical storybook! I really enjoyed doing my piece for the show too, it was a great way to meet people in the community and get involved. I'll be putting the film up online soon and will get the link out to everyone. :) Thanks so much again!

My local park
I really enjoyed the show last night. It was amazing to be walking through my local park at night - I have lived in Catford for 10 years and I've never been brave enough as it's always seemed like a no-go area after dark. To see it so magically transformed - and populated - at night time was wonderful.
Thanks for coming to our part of London!

A Rivers and People Thankyou
I just wanted to say thanks so much for last night it really made my birthday. The whole thing was magical and having been involved in clearing the river, special. It was all great but I really loved the dogs, very funny and the local historian was a fantastic story teller. And Lucy, you were right the dark and the lights made it very magical.
You should all be very proud of yourselves. Thanks again.

Sunday 16th September Ravensbourne River Celebration
Brilliant evening, Jonathan, Melissa, Lucy et al! Lots of hard work paid off as weather was fantastic too! As Vice Chair of QWAG (.org.uk) and long standing member of the local community I thank you all for the work and raising awareness of Lewisham's Rivers' rehabilitation successes! More in the pipeline (Central Lewisham, Sydenham Cottages) we hope. It was a great event for kids and newcomers making more of the wonderful resource. Thanks for your hard work again. Can you include, please, the link to the talking heads videos please I am in it and missed my bit under the arch!). Well Done! A big up for Biodiversity too! BTW - spell 'subject' below!

It's coming together
Sunday saw dogs and owners rehearsing with director Kate Tempest, while Michael Breakey installed the water driven music machine. At the North end of the route workshops making quite beautiful chandeliers from discarded bottles were led by Ian Simmons, while Paul at Tea Dance led a large tribe of under 8's on a quest to find a Naiad. Children and elders exchanged exercises under the trees and I got the Bubble adults to Ponder and Heron in the long grass (don't ask) while designer Pip talked Naiad Maureen through her relationship to the river. Then today saw film maker Annie come in to capture the Island of Dreams on video. So all we need now is to muster a dozen River Maidens and 10 Waterboatmen River Monitors and we've nearly got the complete park animating kit !

River Project
25/08/12: Hope all goes according to plan. I'll have to look up pics later to see how u use the river to maximum effect. Hopefully no rain, so the riv won't b all swollen . . . There's lots of vegetation, I suppose u can make use of . . . My house is a stone's throw away from the riv. Dogs & maybe walkers in the water, among other things - should b a blast! Sad, I'll miss it all, as I'll b out of the country. All the best . . . PS: Love the new-look Bubble web site . . .

Electricity
Hi Barry,
In two of the sites we will be plugging into electrical feeds that are provided. In other places we will be using our "green" generators which are relatively quiet. We site them well away from people, make sure the leads are safe and that the atmosphere isn't ruined.

Projection and sound scenario requires electricity. From where? Generators can be noisy and ruin atmosphere.
