AGED 18-25 AND INTERESTED IN DRAMA? 

Bubble Young Theatre Makers training programme includes performance and leadership opportunities and is geared towards preparing you for your next steps.

Taster sessions: Friday 3rd Feb, 2-4pm & Friday 10th Feb, 2-4pm

Programme dates: Wednesday 15th Feb – Friday 7th April, 1-5pm.

We meet for 15 hours per week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, 1-5pm.
Lunch is provided and travel is reimbursed.


PROGRAMME INCLUDES

Participating in drama workshops
Leading workshops for other young people
Devising a play
Performing the play in a range of schools and youth settings
Professional practice training sessions
Paid work experience placements
Support with finding and applying for employment, education and training opportunities
Optional 1-2-1 sessions with a wellbeing professional
Theatre trips

Whilst on the programme, participants will complete a DBS check; Emergency First Aid In The Workplace training; OCN Credits (The Actor and The Community Drama Facilitator)

Afterwards, participants can join other alumni for monthly Bubble Young Associate sessions, attend theatre trips, drop in for ongoing support, join our Bubble Adult Drama group or Bubble Intergenerational Company. 


Previous participants have gone on to 

Gain employment
Start apprenticeships
Train at drama schools / attend university / study at college
Work for London Bubble on participatory groups and bespoke projects
Become professional actors 

This project has been awarded Standard 2 by Project Oracle.
