Bubble makes theatre with the community and builds community through theatre. We bring together children, adults and artists to create exciting intergenerational projects.

Creative Volunteers can get involved with the company by participating in a project, or by providing the support that allows others to participate.

Join our summer promenade Front of House team

London Bubble has been making theatre for audiences in London’s parks since it began in 1972.  This August, after a 7 year hiatus, the renowned Bubble promenade park tour returns with Tales from the Arabian Nights.

If you’ve never seen a Bubble park show, it’s an experience like no other.  Welcoming audiences of all ages, all the scenes of our fully outdoor, all-weather performance moves around the park as night falls.  This year we are touring to Southwark Park and Greenwich Park.

We are recruiting a team of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to greet our audiences, walk with them as they travel around the park and help us raise vital funds by selling tickets, programmes and refreshments.  If you have a few evenings a week free over summer and would like to support our work then this could be the volunteering opportunity for you!

Can you commit to helping at 6 shows between 1-19th August plus a short, informal training workshop in late July / early August?

Support and participate in our intergenerational project Primary which is developing a new theatre performance for 2018 exploring the subject of Primary Schools.

You can help by:
- Researching a topic or conducting an interview
- Talking to us about your experience of working in primary education
- Supporting an older participant to get involved in the project
- Joining our performance company & choir

We're particularly keen to hear from people aged 59-69.
No previous experience is necessary and there is no audition; just bring enthusiasm!
