Spangleguts
For Christmas 2006, London Bubble created a brand new classic at The Albany Theatre.
Spangleguts took its inspiration from an Italian fairy tale - a strange and unpredictable tale with twists and turns along the way. When a young girl, in search of a story, flies away on the back of a giant eagle, it seems that her wishes have been answered. But as we know, in fairy tales, things are never quite that simple, and an adventure unfolds involving witches and white stallions, dashing princes and talking books, mischievous fairies and royal cheese vaults.
London Bubble built on its experience of creating fun, engaging theatre to present a show containing all the humour and warmth associated with the company's previous work. The production utilised inventive stagecraft, video and music to create a show sparked the imagination, stunned the senses and tickled the ribs of both children and adults.
