Bubble Theatre Company’s self-invented shows are concerned with London and the people who live there. In our first year, The London Blitz Show was about community life during 1941-1942, and last year The Jack the Ripper Show took as its starting point London’s famous historical monster. This year it seems the right time to explore London now – what it’s like to be living here in 1974.

Our new show is srt in a pub – The London. Its characters are the pubs local regulars. It’s a good pub, one of the few left, but external forces are exerting pressure to change the pub’s nature entirely. Something irretrievable may be lost, and it’s not just the pub that will suffer.
