Twice a year Bubble Young Theatre Makers create dynamic, interactive plays based on issues that local young people tell us affect their lives. Previous topics have included mental health, social media, knife crime, domestic violence and homophobia.
Book a performance and workshop for your group
Performances are embedded within a workshop; the audience are encouraged to get involved and explore the problems in the play that they feel are most urgent. Forum theatre enables the audience to intervene, challenge the oppression presented in the play and experiment with how they might be able to steer the action towards better outcomes for the central character in a practical way.
Sessions can be tailored to fit your usual session time.
Maximum group size: 40
Our next tour will take place in November-December 2019

“I always struggle with how to teach Forum Theatre to my students – London Bubble is the answer! They recently came to our school with We Need To Act On […] my students were immediately engaged with the performance, it was dynamic, fast-paced with emphasis on subject matter that would relate to our students. […] This opportunity enabled students to be reflective on their own life-choices and gave them the opportunity to have the bravery to test ideas out.”
