Bubble Young Theatre Makers (18 – 24)


The Bubble Young Theatre Makers training programme includes performance and leadership opportunities geared towards preparing you for your next steps.

We meet for 15 hours per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, 1-5pm.

Lunch is provided and travel expenses are reimbursed.

Our next programme will take place in Autumn 2019.

The core programme includes:

  • Participating in drama workshops
  • Leading workshops for other young people
  • Devising a play
  • Performing the play in a range of school and youth settings
  • Professional practice training sessions
  • Work placement opportunities
  • Support with finding and applying for employment, education and training opportunities
  • Theatre trips

Whilst on the programme, participants will complete an enhanced DBS check and Emergency First Aid In The Workplace training.

After the programme, participants can join in monthly Bubble Young Associate sessions, attend theatre trips, drop in for ongoing support and join our Adult Drama group or Intergenerational Company.

Previous participants have gone on to: 

  • Gain employment
  • Start apprenticeships
  • Train at drama schools / attend university / study at college
  • Work for London Bubble on participatory groups and bespoke projects
  • Become professional actors
