General Manager

Our staff team are poised to return to our building in Rotherhithe after over a year of online delivery. This gives us an opportunity to look afresh at how our building supports our work and how our programmes and like-minded artists and companies can make the most out of this resource. We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic General Manager to join our friendly team and help us develop our home in SE16 as a creative hub for theatre-making.

The General Manager will

  • Ensure our building is fit for purpose and meets the needs of the company, its members and hirers
  • Ensure the staff team are well equipped to deliver projects to vulnerable community groups within the building
  • Help develop a vibrant hub and an attractive, affordable studio space for socially motivated artists
  • Help us thrive as we re-establish ourselves post-pandemic!

Salary £30-33,000 pro rata depending on experience

0.5 post (18.75 hours per week excluding lunch break)

25 days annual leave pro rata + public holidays

Fixed term contract September 2021 (earlier if possible) – March 2022 (with a view to extending)

Reports to Executive Directors

Office based role at our home in SE16
