Starting Out In Community Theatre
Are you 18–25, passionate about community projects, and interested in working creatively with people? Want to gain the practical skills and insight into working in community theatre?
Join us for a 7-week programme designed to give you the practical skills and tools needed to become a community theatre facilitator.
Led by Artistic Director Marie Vickers, this programme helps you develop the confidence to lead and support projects that are shaped by the voices and experiences of the communities you work with. You’ll gain insight on how you can work with children, vulnerable young people, and older adults, and learn how theatre can be used as a tool for connection, expression, and social change.

You must be aged 18-25 to take part in this programme. Travel is reimbursed and refreshments are provided.
At London Bubble, care about who gets to work in theatre. We value having a workforce that reflects the communities we serve, sharing similar lived experiences.
We particularly welcome participants from marginalised and under-represented communities for this project. No work experience or qualifications needed. Just bring along your curiosity, commitment and desire to work with people.
