Tales From The Blue
This summer we're recruiting a group of twenty 14-18-year-olds who live locally to create and perform a brand-new play sharing their stories about Bermondsey!
Brought to life in just one week, this youth-led performance will dive into what anchors its young people to the place they call home. At the end of the week, young people will perform their show to friends, family and the public outside in The Blue Market.
Whether it’s a journey back to the past, wild tales of the present, or fantastical dreams of the future, this story will be entirely devised by its young people to empower their voices.
This project is FREE to take part and lunch will be provided.Â
To take part you must:
- Be 14 to 18 years old.
- Live, go to school or have a connection to Bermondsey.

Devising & rehearsals
- Monday 11th to Thursday 14th August, 11am - 4pm
- Friday 15th August, 11am – 2pm
Performance
- Friday 15th August
- 3pm - 3.30pm
- The Blue Market Square, SE16 3UQ
