Bubble at Bermondsey Carnival

Come by and see us this Saturday at Bermondsey Carnival from around 12 noon where we will be sharing some of our Charting the Mayflower project findings and activities. Join in and help us to recreate the space each passenger had onboard using the real dimensions of the ship.
Charting the Mayflower is our intergenerational project bringing together historians, artists, volunteers and participants in the build-up to the 400th anniversary. Together we are exploring the history of the voyage and its contemporary resonances and our works will culminate in a large scale performance in 2020.
The annual Bermondsey Carnival event is an exciting free programme of music, dance and creativity. This year the day includes a live music programme headlined by The Real Thing, children’s workshops, a funfair, world foods stalls and Rumble in the Jumble.
