Cardboard Citizen’s version of Maxim Gorky’s classic play.

Cardboard Citizens began life as a participatory project at London Bubble.  The Lower Depths was produced in association with London Bubble, directed by Adrian Jackson and designed by Pip Nash.

The Lower Depths depicts a group of residents struggling to keep their sanity in a shabby private hostel – where turn of the century Russia meets pre-millennial London.
