Why is Bubble the passion project that made you commit your time, effort and expertise?

I love that at the heart of Bubble is using theatre to help communities connect and tell their stories. My highlight so far is watching Bubble’s Young Theatre Makers perform plays at Canada Water Theatre that energised their community to reflect on and take action on key issues of the day.

What makes a great trustee?

A real passion for the charity’s vision and mission; the ability to challenge the Executive in a supportive way and enable the team to think strategically over the long-term

What is your favourite play/theatre space/character and why?

I’ve seen some great plays at the National Theatre in the last year, notably Rockets and Blue Lights by Winsome Pinnock and Paradise by Kae Tempest. But The Minack Theatre in Cornwall is definitely the most memorable theatre space I’ve been to!
